Participants of the Columbia Business School Pre-MBA World Tour 2019 are advised to be aware of travel alerts and advisories from their respective government agencies.

All participants must agree to the following waiver of liability:

  • In participating in the Columbia Business School Pre-MBA World Tour 2019, the participant hereby releases, waives, indemnifies, defends, and holds harmless the organizers of the Columbia Business School Pre-MBA World Tour 2019, including Co-Chairs, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Regional Leaders, Country Leaders, Country Co-Leaders, and other trip Leaders from and against any and all claims, for bodily injury demands or causes of action of any type whatsoever, including property damage or personal injury, damages, losses and expenses, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way related to participation in the trip with which the participant will be involved.

  • The participant is aware that there are possible risks and dangers associated with his or her participation. The participant assumes full responsibility for any injuries or damages the participant may sustain as a result of his or her participation, including travel to or from the trip destination.

  • In addition, the participant assumes liability for and agrees to indemnify and to hold the organizers of the Columbia Business School Pre-MBA World Tour 2019, including Co-Chairs, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Regional Leaders, Country Leaders, Country Co-Leaders, and Trip Leaders harmless for all claims or damages caused, in whole or in part, by the participant and any negligent, intentional, or other act or omission on the part of the participant.

  • The participant agrees to the information and payment terms listed in the Registration Information portion of the country webpage for the trip with which the participant will be involved and understands that failure to comply with these terms may result in forfeiture of his or her involvement in the trip and the loss of any fees already paid by the participant.

  • Given the finite number of participant spaces for each trip and the intention for the World Tour to serve as a bonding experience for members of the CBS MBA Class of 2021, the participant understands that if his or her significant other will be participating and/or involved with any trips, relationship validity will be assessed to ensure the significant other is eligible to participate.

  • The participant understands that this is an unofficial trip organized by volunteers from the CBS MBA Class of 2021.

Any information provided on this website or by any World Tour organizer, including Co-Chairs, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Regional Leaders, Country Leaders, Country Co-Leaders, and Trip Leaders, should be relied upon at your own risk.
